Shalrie Joseph, MLS All Star and President of Shalrie Joseph SC Lions is thrilled to welcome players to the club, which launched in 2009, and merged with Benfica USA in 2011. Shalrie plays an active role in coaching and training all players!
 

• U14Boys were unbeaten in the 1st half of the season and promoted from MASC Division A2 to MASC Division A1
• U13Boys were promoted to D2 for the Fall -CONGRATS!
• U15Boys won the MAPLE D1 championship!

• All 8 U15 players in the 2011 ODP Pool made the cut for the ODP state teams. Congrats to Jake Davis (1996), Zach Herivaux (1996), Josh Khang (1996), Josh Makaruse (1996), Dimitri Makrigiorgos (1996), Lance Mayo (1995), Jacob Rosenkalt (1995), and David Stapleton (1996)
• Andy Kim (U13 boys) made the state team for the 1998 ODP team

Zach Herivaux (95/96 U15 Boys), already a member of the U15 US National squad, has been named 1 of the top five U17 players to watch worldwide, by FourFour Two, Europe's #1 soccer magazine. The Boston Herald also ran a feature last month comparing Zach to soccer great Ronaldinho.
In September, Zach will accept a full scholarship to Beaver Country Day School, Brookline. At Beaver he will join fellow U15 Lion Silmar Bueno, who also received a full scholarship based on soccer skills in September 2010.

The U14 (1995/96) Boys won US Youth Soccer's National President's Cup Championship July 10 in Tennessee, beating title holders California 3-0 in the final. This comes after U14s won the Region 1 title on Memorial Day weekend in Saratoga Springs.
